Residence Hall Director

Summary:The Residence Hall Director is a live-in staff member for an all women's residence hall, who provides leadership and development of undergraduate students; manages the administration and maintenance of buildings and real property; and resolves student conflicts, including resolution of student concerns and discipline procedures related to violations of the student code of conduct.Responsibilities:Select, train, supervise and evaluate 3-8, undergraduate Resident Advisors, provide feedback and document performanceOversee residence hall programming development and implementation to meet the goals and mission of the office of Residence Life and Greensboro CollegeDocument all maintenance concerns for assigned building and follow-up on timely correctionEnforce disciplinary procedures for residential students and apply appropriate educational sanctions and/or fines for violations of the student code of conductInspect residence hall rooms and common area according to established scheduleServe office hours in residence life and be able to perform office proceduresManage student conflictUnderstand and follow all Greensboro College emergency procedures and protocols, and serve in an on-call duty rotation, which may include evening cover of Campbell Student CenterInform residents of College procedures, residence hall expectations and closing datesDocument key inventory, resident rosters, maintenance requestsModel appropriate professional behavior and uphold all Greensboro College policies both on and off dutyQualifications:Earned bachelors degreeRelevant work experience in student development and residence life preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
