As a remote mental health counselor, you will work from the comfort of your home while being deeply integrated into our organizational culture. Our remote setting offers flexibility, allowing you to manage your work-life balance while meeting the needs of our clients. Monday to Friday, you will typically work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but some evening shifts may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of individuals entering treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique challenges and circumstances.

• Provide individual counseling utilizing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to promote engagement and behavioral changes.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster community, support, and shared experiences among clients in recovery.

You will work closely with a diverse population of clients grappling with substance use disorders. These individuals may be experiencing a range of challenges, including co-occurring mental health issues. Your role will involve building rapport and providing tailored, compassionate support throughout their recovery journey, addressing both their psychological needs and practical concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in California.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of substance use disorders, employing recovery-oriented and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment, highlighting your therapeutic competencies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for a non-judgmental and empathetic therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines, alongside ensuring patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
