Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
Setting: Center-Based / On-Site
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-1:30 PM
Salary: $95,000-$105,000/year
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist in Brooklyn, NY. This role focuses on providing individualized occupational therapy services to children and young adults ages 3-21 with developmental disabilities. The OT will help students improve functional skills, independence, and overall quality of life through personalized therapy plans and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatment sessions.
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with students' needs and goals.
Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, daily living skills, and functional independence.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student development and IEP goals.
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and therapy records.
Recommend strategies and activities that can be carried over into classroom and home environments.
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Active New York State Occupational Therapy License required.
Experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
