CRM Functional Consulting Manager

Summary As a CRM Functional Consulting Manager you utilize your in‑depth Business Analysis skills and industry knowledge to design Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Power Platform and AI based solutions to solve complex business problems. You will be primarily focused on leveraging your experience to design and implement Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform and AI solutions on complex projects in medium to large enterprises. You are also seen as an expert within the Dynamics 365 community and you routinely share your knowledge on bleeding‑edge topics in community and internal events. Key Responsibilities CRM Functional Consulting Manager Contribute across all phases of Avanade projects (e.g. Plan, Analyse, Design, Build and Test). Leverage Business Analysis and Industry expertise to conduct end‑to‑end solution design and implementation of Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform and AI solutions. Senior Developer – Biz Apps CRM Lead the technical delivery of Dynamics 365 CRM & Power Platform, Copilot solutions, ensuring timely and high‑quality execution. Manage and mentor technical teams, driving accountability, coding standards, and best practices. Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Oversee CRM customization, including entities, attributes, business rules, workflows, and plugins. Provide technical direction for API development and system integrations using C# Web APIs and RESTful services. Manage version control and code collaboration using Bitbucket or similar tools. Ensure effective deployment and configuration management through CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins. Coordinate and perform CRM data migrations, preferably using SSIS or KingswaySoft. Implement and enforce unit testing practices using mock frameworks. Use tools such as XRM Toolbox to enhance productivity and solution quality. Support the creation, packaging, and deployment of CRM solutions and environments. Azure DevOps & Cloud Architecture Lead the design and governance of DevOps CI/CD strategies and enterprise delivery pipelines. Architect and oversee implementation of Azure cloud solutions aligned to client business and technology strategies. Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and DevOps practices across Azure environments. Provide technical leadership across project teams from requirements through architecture, delivery oversight, and operational handover. Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure architectures for modern workloads. Lead technical assessments and cloud adoption strategies for customers moving to Azure. Conduct architectural and technical reviews to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and business objectives. Mentor and guide analysts and consultants in delivery and capability development. Contribute to pre‑sales activities including solution shaping, estimations, proposals, and client presentations. Qualifications Skills and Experience Understanding of common industry standard business practices supported by Dynamics 365 CE. Experience in Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform (Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Canvas and Model‑Driven Apps, Power Automate) and Dataverse. Excellent understanding of Dynamics 365 ISV solutions such as MapTaskr, DocumentCorePack, Experian, XpertDoc, Experlogix. Experience implementing Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and other functional modules. Strong customer‑facing communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for customizations. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI). Knowledge of data migration tools (SSIS, KingswaySoft, XRM Toolbox).
