The Arnold Healthy Kids Initiative seeks a Research Program Coordinator to support funded public health research projects. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day research activities, participant recruitment and retention, data collection, regulatory compliance, and communication with community partners and funding agencies. Key Responsibilities:
Job Duty
Develop, in coordination with study PIs, recruitment and retention protocols and procedures for research studies related to public health programs. Development of protocols will lead to the preparation and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) materials to the University's Office of Research Compliance. Train and evaluate data-collection staff on the protocols and procedures. Essential Function

Advertised Job Summary
The Arnold Healthy Kids Initiative seeks a Research Program Coordinator to support funded public health research projects. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day research activities, participant recruitment and retention, data collection, regulatory compliance, and communication with community partners and funding agencies. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate research project operations and timelines.
- Develop and implement participant recruitment and retention strategies.
- Prepare and submit IRB applications and related compliance documents.
- Train and support research staff on study protocols and procedures.
- Manage project records, data collection activities, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with investigators, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
- Expertise in the use of computers and the Internet.
- A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
- Experience or interest in sleep in children or youth.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with parents, community partner personnel, children, and the community at large.
