Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to determine individual needs, collaboratively developing tailored care plans.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring alignment with child development principles.
\n
• Monitor progress and outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that each child and family receives comprehensive support that meets their unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices to promote language acquisition and learning in natural contexts.
\n
• Foster strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and team members to create a supportive environment conducive to growth and learning.
\n
• Deliver family coaching and support, equipping parents with strategies and resources to enhance their child's development.
\n
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations, maintaining high standards of care and ensuring the health and safety of all individuals served.

• Document all interactions comprehensively in accordance with clinic protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with young children, including infants and toddlers facing developmental delays and disabilities. Your work will be pivotal in helping these families navigate the complexities of early childhood interventions. By supporting and empowering parents, you will contribute significantly to the child's overall growth and skill acquisition during these formative years.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work required.

• Current LCSW licensure in good standing from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

• A minimum of one year of experience working directly with children in early intervention settings.
