Sr. Digital / Web Platform Business Analyst

By understanding how work happens across the organization, you will help design smarter processes, enhance platform capabilities, and drive measurable business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLead requirements discovery using interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, site visits, process reviews, use cases, and workflow analysisAnalyze and synthesize complex information, resolve conflicting inputs, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirementsDistinguish true business needs from stated requests and decompose high-level goals into detailed functional requirementsPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define scalable digital solutionsDevelop current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) process models and recommend optimized workflowsProduce high-quality analysis artifacts, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, gap analyses, and process documentationFacilitate prioritization discussions and support roadmap planning, MVP definition, and quick-win opportunitiesManage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced enterprise environmentWork independently with stakeholders across business units to define requirements and drive alignmentSupport Agile delivery by refining backlogs, grooming user stories, and participating in sprint ceremoniesCollaborate on integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production releases, and post-deployment supportPartner with CMS teams to enhance content management capabilities, authoring workflows, and user experiencesWork with application teams to define requirements for APIs, integrations, backend services, and system interactionsDefine and document workflows and integrations across enterprise platforms (such as ServiceNow, marketing systems, operational tools)Support privacy, compliance, and data governance initiatives, including GDPR processes and integrations with consent management platforms such as OneTrustAct as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring delivered solutions drive business value and operational efficiencyRequirements5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting CMS, digital platforms, or enterprise web applicationsExperience working with enterprise content management systems (AEM experience strongly preferred)Strong process-analysis skills and experience with multiple requirements discovery techniquesDemonstrated ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across organizational levels, including senior leadershipStrong understanding of digital platforms, web ecosystems, and system integrationsAbility to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and vice versaProven ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groupsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExperience documenting complex business processes and system interactionsAbility to prioritize effectively and execute under tight timelinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Business or a related STEM fieldRecommended QualificationsWorking knowledge of web technologies and architectures, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, and cloud environmentsExperience supporting modern CMS platforms (such as AEM, headless CMS, or similar)Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems, including analytics, personalization, or customer data platformsExperience supporting Adobe Experience Cloud solutions like Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), CDP, or related data driven- marketing platformsExperience with Node.js-based applications or API-driven architecturesExperience with AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, or conversational interfacesFamiliarity with ServiceNow workflows, integrations, or platform enhancementsExperience with enterprise search, content discovery, or site search optimizationProficiency with analysis and modeling tools (Visio, Lucid chart) and productivity tools (Excel, Workfront, and more)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP or SalesforceExperience evaluating emerging technologies to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency#LI-TM1#LI-onsiteTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy.
