Certified Nurse Assistant – Long-Term Care

Schedule: Full Time Nights (5x7.5s), Every Other Weekend, Holiday required

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Requirements:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• One (1) year of Long-Term Care experience or Nursing Assistant experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in their care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure that nutritional needs of residents are met, including meal delivery and dietary preferences.
• Provide rehabilitative care, including range of motion exercises and proper body alignment.
• Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse promptly.
• Follow protocols for safety and compliance regarding infection control and equipment use.
