With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is primarily responsible for month-end closing procedures, creating Standard Operating Procedures, and external audit support. They will assist in documentation of all recurring tasks and cross-training members of accounting team to ensure shared knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-end closing procedures including:Recording of journal entriesPreparation of bank reconciliation statementsPreparation of balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of Financial StatementsPreparation of Accounts Balance Statements (ABS) for all key balance sheet accountsCreation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all recurring tasksERP Transition support (from JDE to D365)Coordination with parent company (Amcor) for transitions / handover of current Vybond processesExternal audit support and coordinationAd hoc analysisOther ResponsibilitiesPerform additional responsibilities as needed.Listening and PersuadingAbility to work well with others in the team.Communicate clearly and concisely to customers and colleagues.Adapt style to influence customers and colleagues.Can-do Spirit and DriveRespond positively to change.Contribute ideas to improve performance.Business SenseSeek opportunities to improve sales and reduce costs.Demonstrate awareness of competition and external events.Offer great customer service to internal customers.QualificationsBachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field is a plusMinimum of 2 years of experience as an accountant with duties including month-end close, preparation of financial statements, external audit support, and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Experience in supporting a sales organization and/or in an industrial distribution environment is a plus.Job Requirements / SkillsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus.Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr VYBOND SPECIALTY ADHESIVES LLC
