An established NYC Metro contractor is looking to add a Junior Billing Specialist to its finance team. The company works across commercial, institutional and public-sector projects and offers strong exposure to detailed project and government billing.

The Role

\n
• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
\n
• Assist with billing across construction, service and project-based contracts.
\n
• Gather supporting documentation including timesheets, packing slips and purchase orders.
\n
• Support billing packages for government and public-agency clients.
\n
• Assist with certified payroll and prevailing-wage documentation where required.
\n
• Track outstanding invoices and help resolve billing discrepancies.
\n
• Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation.
\n
• Work closely with project managers, operations and finance teams.
\n

Your Experience

\n
• 1–3+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting or related experience.
\n
• Construction, contracting, engineering, telecommunications or project-based experience preferred.
\n
• Exposure to NYC government or public-agency billing is advantageous.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
\n
• Comfortable using Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
\n
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
\n
