Accounts Payable Associate

Vaco Arizona has partnered with a top company in Tempe to hire an Accounts Payable / Risk Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity paying up to $26/hour and is fully onsite. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of accounts payable, administrative work, and supporting a Risk & Insurance team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support the Risk & Insurance team with daily administrative and payment-related tasks Process and track payments, including check runs and settlements Assist with vendor invoices and basic accounts payable duties Maintain and update claim files and ensure proper documentation Enter data and manage records across multiple systems Handle incoming mail, scanning, and document filing Monitor shared inboxes and respond to inquiries Work with internal teams to resolve payment issues Assist with reporting, audits, and month-end tasks Support check processing, reissues, and payment research Provide strong customer service in a busy environment Qualifications 3+ years of Accounts Payable and Administrative Support experience Strong Excel skills Compensation and Benefits Up to $26/hour (contract-to-hire) Eligible for discretionary bonuses Medical, dental, and vision benefits Company 401(k) retirement plan #J-18808-Ljbffr
