Location: National Fleet Management Headquarters — Greensboro, NC
Work Location: On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Compensation: $48,840 - $52,000, based on experience

National Fleet Management is one of the fastest-growing heavy-duty truck service companies in the Southeast, providing fleet maintenance and repair solutions to commercial fleets across multiple states.

With full-service repair facilities, a growing mobile service operation, and continued expansion into new markets, we're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team at our Greensboro, NC Headquarters. This is a full-time, on-site position.

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable from invoice receipt through payment.

• Review, code, enter, and match vendor invoices with supporting documentation.

• Process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers accurately and timely.

• Reconcile vendor statements and research invoice and payment discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and payment information.

• Monitor outstanding invoices and help ensure timely vendor payments.

• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and other accounting activities.

• Partner with Operations and other departments to resolve issues and improve AP processes.

• Cross-train in other accounting functions and support the Accounting team as business needs require.

• 1–3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.

• Experience or knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, reconciliations, or other accounting functions is a plus.

• Experience with ERP or accounting software; Karmak experience is a plus.

• Experience with AP automation or workflow systems is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Willingness to learn, cross-train, and support the Accounting team when needed.
