Job Overview A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Litigation Associate in Costa Mesa. This role offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a portion of the workweek to be conducted remotely. The position involves managing a diverse range of cases, including defending employers and insurers against employment-related litigation. Duties Engage in all phases of litigation, from case evaluation to attending hearings. Work closely with lead attorneys and collaborate with team members. Proactively manage client communications throughout litigation. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents with precision. Requirements Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing. 1+ year of workers' compensation experience preferred. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice in the State of California.
