Apartment Leasing Agent

Job Summary The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for greeting prospective renters, showing vacant apartments, assisting existing tenants with maintenance requests, explaining pricing and lease terms, pre‑screening applicants, processing leasing applications, overseeing move‑ins and negotiating lease renewals. The leasing professional will also advertise available units ready to move‑in by posting on social media, making cold calls and following up on leads. Key Responsibilities Conduct interviews with applicants and tenants, verifying income and other criteria. Complete guest cards for all walk‑ins and calls, entering them into the system daily. Lead apartment tours, discussing unit features, property amenities, prices, specials, and lease terms. Take work orders, report complaints to the manager, and follow up. Inspect properties during move‑in and move‑out. Prepare rental forms, collect required signatures, and handle necessary documentation. Ensure all move‑in documents are prepared for manager approval. Walk through the apartment with new residents during move‑in. Open and close model units, ensuring they are clean and ready to show daily; report any maintenance issues. Qualifications Previous experience as a Leasing Professional in a multi‑family setting. Ability to start immediately. Benefits Competitive pay.
