BUILDINGS MAINTENANCE MANAGER (CLASS CODE 2413)

Responsibilities Very responsible supervisory, administrative and skilled work in directing a large group of skilled workers in the operation, maintenance and repair of all climate control systems and related equipment in city-owned buildings, and related work as required. Qualifications Original high school diploma or G.E.D.* Eight (8) years of increasingly responsible experience in facilities management, including building and grounds maintenance. At least three (3) years of supervisory experience, including budget preparation and development. A bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for four years of (non-supervisory) experience. Training and experience rated and weighted 100%; only experience gained within last ten (10) years counts. One (1) year probationary period. Education verification required prior to appointment.
