Work Environment\n

The mental health therapist role offers a remote work setting from the comfort of your own home while remaining embedded within our vibrant community practice. You will experience flexible work hours, generally from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of minor adjustments based on patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that account for diverse cultural orientations, helping to understand patients’ backgrounds and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support, utilizing strong crisis management skills to assist individuals facing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources within the community to encourage empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development workshops aimed at enhancing cultural competency in therapy practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
