Location: Remote (Irwindale, CA) Type: Contract - W2 Pay Rate: $23/hr Position Type: 18+ Months Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM4:00 PM Work Environment

Remote. Candidate must be local to Southern California / Irwindale area for equipment pickup. Fast-paced, production-focused environment. High-volume application processing. Requires consistent attention to accuracy, quality, and productivity.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service / ESA Application Processing Specialist to support the review and processing of ESA applications. The position will involve validating customer information, reviewing income eligibility and supporting documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring applications are processed accurately and in accordance with established program policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with high volumes of applications, following detailed processes, managing work queues, and working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ESA applications to validate customer information, income eligibility, and required supporting documentation.
• Identify missing, incomplete, conflicting, or inaccurate information.
• Request revisions or additional information when necessary.
• Report processing issues and escalate discrepancies according to established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, guidelines, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Process a high volume of applications while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Monitor work queues and prioritize applications to meet operational goals.
• Follow established job aids, workflows, procedures, and program requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding company programs, policies, procedures, and requirements as needed.
• Process incoming orders and customer requests within established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Work independently while meeting productivity, quality, and service expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including:
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Copilot
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify missing, incomplete, or conflicting information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow detailed processes, procedures, job aids, and program requirements consistently.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with limited day-to-day supervision.
