Reports to: CSR Supervisor The Role Client Service Representatives support the delivery of high-quality primary veterinary care. As the front line of communication between clients and providers, CSRs promote the practice by maintaining a client-oriented and professional work environment. Duties include using computer and veterinary management software, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, client check-in and check-out, and more. They also serve as liaisons between patients and medical staff. Responsibilities Greet clients and pets in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner Check out patients, print invoices, and receive/apply payments Ensure work and reception area is kept clean and professional at all times Answer phone calls and relay information to the appropriate party Assist clients at times of euthanasia by rooming patients, preparing paperwork and taking payments Keep food and merchandise shelves stocked Drawer reconciliation End of day deposits Complete all other tasks assigned The Ideal Candidate Above and beyond customer service skills and a positive attitude Excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to work in fast-paced and stressful situations Comfort with and knowledge of computer and internet skills as well as veterinary terms/procedures Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills We offer accrued PTO, health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k) and pet perks for your personal pets.
