About the Role

The Company is a prominent player in the insurance claims investigation and medical management sector, dedicated to providing enhanced data, technology, and insights to support client decision-making. They are in the process of expanding their technology division and are in need of a Vice President of Engineering to lead the scaling of software development, testing, and delivery processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the engineering operating model, strengthening software development processes, engineering standards, CI/CD, quality practices, and performance measurement. This is a key leadership role that involves overseeing a large team of engineering, QA, and delivery professionals, and requires a strategic approach to technology planning, change leadership, and the adoption of new engineering processes and tools. Applicants for the Vice President of Engineering position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10-15 years' experience in software development and engineering. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in establishing SDLC processes, managing engineering KPIs, and a strong background in modern CI/CD tooling, source control, automated testing, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure. Experience in leading organizational transformation, particularly in DevOps adoption and Agile maturity, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a background in regulated or risk-sensitive industries and relevant certifications such as SAFe, PMP, or cloud platform certifications.
