Description: This position is for a CST in the Operating Room. The unit has 23 operating rooms with a staff of 70. The staffing includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and sitters during the day shift. Patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1. The role involves assisting in elective surgical cases including orthopedic, spine, general surgery, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology. Flexibility and a strong commitment to patient care are essential. Call is required with a 30-minute response time. This is a teamwork-oriented environment focusing on elective cases with no trauma involved. Candidates with orthopedic or spine experience will be prioritized.
