Nurse Practitioner- Cardiac Special Procedures

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its Cardiac Services / Special Procedures team. This advanced practice role provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional clinical outcomes. Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions within scope of practice. Order, interpret, and utilize diagnostic testing to support clinical decision‑making. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance enhancement activities. Promote patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence. Qualifications Education Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program. Licensure & Certifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license. National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner. DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Preferred Experience Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in cardiology, cardiovascular services, acute care, or procedural settings. Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
