Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU / Critical Care) Weekly Pay (36 Hours) Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,506 Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,260 Weekly Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246 Schedule 13-week travel assignment Night Shift: 12-hour shifts Every other weekend and holiday required No on-call required Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit Perform ongoing patient assessments and rapidly respond to changes in patient condition Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and critical care treatments Monitor hemodynamic status and manage patients requiring advanced cardiac and respiratory support Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team Deliver safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced critical care environment Requirements Active RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU experience required Recent CCU (Cardiac Care Unit) experience must be clearly documented on the resume Experience in a mid-size to large hospital required American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required: BLS ACLS Strong critical thinking, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response skills Ability to work independently while managing high-acuity patients Benefits Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois.
