Your Schedule

• 2nd shift Monday through Friday 4:00PM-12:30AM FLEXIBLE
• Ability to work overtime during the week and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibility:

• Assist in the set-up of Company equipment and tooling in support of the production floor including:
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Make equipment changeovers, adjustments, and operation.
• Verify work instruction and set-up changes requested by leads/operators.
• Evaluate new tooling and part numbers to setup machine parameters.
• Create programs for marking equipment and verifies location and size per print.
• Maintain production tooling and creates work orders for repair or replacement.
• Assist in departments' organization projects (furniture setups, labeling, etc.)
• Engrave gages, prototypes, tooling, and other materials as needed for Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, & Tool Room.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent (vocational training preferred).
• Able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally and maintains effective working relationships.
• Comprehend and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, component drawings, Bill of Materials, etc.
• Given Company provided training, able to operate fork truck.
• Able to use and input information into a computer (e.g. Outlook email, AS400).

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Two or more years' experience in a related field (e.g. automotive or industrial).
