Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerWe are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for a division of our growing family of coordinated transportation companies. This role will be responsible for managing the general ledger, supervising the close process, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role supports financial planning, budgeting, audits, and process improvements to help achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Sage Intacct.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:General ledger maintenanceAccounts payable and accounts receivableMonth-end and year-end close processLead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close in Sage IntacctPrepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAPMaintain and improve internal controls and accounting policiesMonitor and report cash flow including preparation of weekly cash forecastsPrepare account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepanciesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAssist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirementsCollaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reportingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4+ years of progressive accounting experienceHands-on experience with Sage Intacct a plusStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingAdvanced proficiency in ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesExperience in multi-location or multi-entity healthcare environmentsExperience in PE backed company a plus
