This position is onsite in Nashville.
Salary up to $125,000 Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain accounting operations for multiple business entities and ensure accurate intercompany accounting and consolidations.
- Lead inventory accounting processes, including inventory valuation, reconciliations, reserves, and controls.
- Analyze inventory-related financial data and partner with operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
- Required experience accounting for multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.
- Required inventory accounting experience within a retail, distribution, consumer products, or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
