Surgical Technician

FTE: 0.6 Responsibilities The Obstetrical Surgical Technician performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of R.N., including but not limited to vital signs, assistance with personal care, surgical scrub and prep. Implements and plans equipment/instruments for patient care procedures. Requirements Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to read, write and communicate in English. Completion of Certified Surgical Technician program. Experience: One year of prior experience as PCA or Scrub Tech preferred. Licensure, Registration or Certification: Surgical Technician Certification required within one year of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
