GL Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support financial operations, the full-time GL Accountant will manage all general ledger activities related to payroll, withholdings, and benefits for assigned properties, working remotely while residing in Colorado or Ohio. Key responsibilities Prepare weekly, biweekly, and monthly journal entries and supporting schedules for assigned properties Complete reconciliations within the Oracle ARCS online reconciliation module and research reconciling items Field inquiries from department heads and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-3 years of accounting experience, including account reconciliations and financial close cycles Experience with multi-entity or intercompany accounting Strong understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting principles Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
