Role Description The Director of Business Development is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with medical providers, law firms, and other stakeholders in the workers’ compensation industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and executing strategic business plans, managing a pipeline of leads, nurturing relationships with key accounts, and establishing accounts that align with WIRX Pharmacy’s growth objectives and service standards. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations, and clinical teams to align market strategy with organizational capabilities and ensure a consistently high-quality experience for partners and patients. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, reporting on market trends, and refining go-to-market strategies based on data and feedback. Qualifications Demonstrated strength in New Business Development and Lead Generation, including building and managing a robust sales pipeline. Experience in Business Planning, market analysis, and strategic growth initiatives within healthcare or a related industry. Proficiency in structuring and closing mutually beneficial agreements. Skill in Account Management, maintaining and growing long-term relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners. Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation, auto injury, pharmacy, or healthcare services is highly beneficial. Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, with excellent self-management, time management, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
