Key Responsibilities\n

• Build strong, therapeutic relationships with a diverse group of clients, understanding their unique backgrounds and challenges, to provide effective counseling services.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and provide evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of each student.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with educators and other mental health professionals to develop integrated care plans for students.
\n
• Implement and facilitate short-term therapeutic programs aimed at addressing immediate mental health needs, including crisis interventions.
\n
• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational protocols and ethical standards.
\n
• Actively contribute to team objectives and initiatives, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.

• Stay informed about current best practices, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students in K-12 who may be experiencing emotional disturbances or significant mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related challenges. You will be engaged in providing personalized care that respects their developmental needs, cultural backgrounds, and individual circumstances. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these young individuals navigate their challenges and achieve better educational and personal outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
\n
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentials to practice in the state of California.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for clear and effective interactions with clients, families, and team members.

• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.

• Understanding of age-related developmental issues and the ability to apply that knowledge in therapeutic settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a social work or counseling setting, preferably with children and adolescents.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred to better serve our diverse client population.
