Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews with clients and meticulously document their cases, tracking progress from initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental and emotional states, utilizing various assessment tools to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized intervention and recovery plans that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote therapeutic growth and encourage open dialogue.

• Monitor and assess client progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, medical practitioners, and social workers, to create cohesive intervention strategies.

• Follow up with referring physicians and psychiatrists for clients admitted to facilities, ensuring continuity of care and effective treatment transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a deep understanding of therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to effectively manage client documentation and care.
\n
• A working knowledge of various emotional and physical health conditions, including co-occurring disorders and addiction treatment.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.

• Empathetic approach to client care, with a solid commitment to understanding and addressing their unique needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
