Practice Support Specialist - Transactional - Clayton

Practice Support Specialist Sandberg Phoenix is recruiting a Practice Support Specialist with 3+ years of experience in corporate/transactional to support our team in Clayton. This role reflects the Firm’s shift from the traditional Legal Assistant model to a practice‑aligned support structure designed to better serve each practice group. Responsibilities Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and the PSS Team to produce top‑quality work products and adapt to changing business needs. Prepare and edit corporate documents, including corporate board minutes, real estate closings, banking documentation, contracts, and perform document editing and redlining. Prepare and finalize estate planning documents. Prepare and record deeds. E‑file estate and probate matters. Draft routine communications and correspondence. Review and electronically file incoming mail. Communicate effectively with internal Sandberg Phoenix members and external clients. Handle scheduling of internal and external meetings and manage calendars. Conduct non‑legal research utilizing various electronic resources. Process vendor expenses electronically. Qualifications Ability to problem‑solve, think independently, and undertake projects with minimal supervision in a timely and efficient manner. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys and staff in person, by email, and telephone with ordinary courtesy and tact. Ability to proofread material for contextual, grammatical, typographic, or spelling errors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in technology, including advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook, redline/compare software, and working knowledge of Excel. Interpersonal skills to work with other Sandberg Phoenix members in a positive, teamwork environment to service our clients. 2‑Year Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or related business degree preferred.
