Legal Practice Assistant

Job Title: Legal Practice Assistant Location: 100% onsite - Indianapolis, IN 46204 Daily Responsibilities Schedules meetings and arranges for conference rooms and meals. Coordinates travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, and prepares travel expense reports Prepares and processes new matter documents. Prepares time entries for assigned attorneys and submits in a timely manner, coordinates client billings with the billing department Maintains paper and electronic files in compliance with internal policies Maintains Attorneys calendars Processes Mail, prepares and processes outgoing mail and faxes, arranges for specialized mail services as required Prepare Documents using word processing and documents management software (correspondence and complex legal documents) Support a team of 4 attorneys by providing secretarial and administrative assistance and performing specialized clerical tasks Requirements 5+ years of experience as a practice assistant or legal secretary Knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal processes Accurate typing of 70+ words/minute Strong computer proficiency in the use of MS Office, document management, time entry, e-filing and database software Superior organizational skills including filing, calendaring, and proofreading Time management skills and ability to work independently as well as with a team Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr #J-18808-Ljbffr The Intersect Group
