Sales Senior Specialist - Account Management

Our Pipeline & Process Services (PPS) Inline Inspection (ILI) business supports pipeline operators by delivering advanced inspection technologies that ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Partnering with the best As a Sales Senior Specialist – Account Management you develop and execute the sales strategy for assigned accounts within the United States. You build and strengthen customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver tailored ILI solutions. You collaborate with Commercial Operations, Project Management, and Operations teams to drive proposal development, order intake, and exceptional customer experience while ensuring profitable growth for the business. Responsibilities Develop and execute account‑level sales strategies to originate opportunities and drive strategic growth within assigned customers. Build and maintain long‑term, trusted customer relationships to identify current and future business needs. Act as the voice of the customer to translate customer requirements into solution development and financial forecasting inputs. Own assigned account orders and ensure accurate tracking and forecasting within CRM systems. Serve as the client owner within PPS and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience. Apply solution‑selling techniques by maintaining strong knowledge of the full ILI and Inspection & Evaluation portfolio. Support proposal development and commercial negotiations to convert opportunities into orders. Ensure continuous, clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the sales and execution lifecycle. Operate with the highest integrity and full compliance with the Baker Hughes Code of Conduct. Perform additional sales‑related responsibilities as required to support business objectives. Qualifications Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant sales experience is required (technical sales are strongly preferred). Candidates must either possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business‑related field, or have a high school diploma with relevant sales experience. General technical knowledge of pipeline systems, including strong domain expertise in inline inspection services and applications. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage opportunities and forecasts. 5–7 years prior experience in a sales role with strong customer interface responsibilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal, relationship‑building, and influencing skills. Demonstrated expertise in professional sales methodologies including prospecting, opportunity qualification, value positioning, negotiation, and closing. Comfortable traveling up to 25% to support customers and business needs. Preferred qualifications Prior sales experience within the Inline Inspection industry and familiarity with key customers and operators. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
