Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with a diverse patient population, fostering a safe environment for open communication.

• Utilize clinical expertise to diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions, offering therapeutic interventions while continually assessing and adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.

• Conduct ongoing assessments of individual patient progress, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Lead group therapy sessions and workshops, providing an interactive space for patients to share and learn from each other's experiences.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing therapeutic techniques to assess and treat emotional distress.

• Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with organizational and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied clientele, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with an array of mental health issues. This role is particularly focused on those from diverse backgrounds who may require culturally competent approaches to therapy. Your ability to connect with patients from different walks of life will be critical in providing effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related field, ensuring a strong foundation in mental health practices and theories.

• Current and valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient therapy setting, equipping you with the practical skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.

Preferred Experience\n
