Growing together.You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Partner in strategic planning for design and transformation of the accounting and finance function to world-class real-time financials across finance and accounting by 2029Drive Optum process re-engineering to ensure best in class AI solutions and world class processes resulting in incremental IOILead a team of six sigma belts to perform the process re-engineering effortsLead and/or participate in large scale projects as required to address new product process design for finance and accounting and special projects addressing large scale problemsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:15+ years of experience in the accounting and finance re-engineering and/or advisory services in the accounting and finance spaceMust possess one of the following: o Six Sigma Black Belt o Master Black Belt o Big 4 Senior Manager experience in the AI re-engineering space2+ years of AI re-engineering experienceExpert level knowledge in what is possible and technologies of AIUndergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent experienceAdvanced level of communication skills and ability to understand details of current state, document gaps and make suggestions for improvement in executive presentationsPreferred Qualifications:Certified Public AccountantHealth care Experience*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $159,300 to $273,200 annually based on full-time employment.
