No long resumes please, must have superior communication skills, see the key notes below: We need people with analytical skills and minds who have operated successfully in disciplined environments where people proactively document all sorts of things - process flows, meeting action items, requirements, test cases and test results, BRDs. And they are used to setting deadlines for everything and don't need to be pushed to do it. People who excel at the BA basics, gathering / soliciting, analyzing, documenting and organizing requirements. Understanding and documenting process flows. Writing good use cases. People with very business-oriented resumes and not the usual laundry list of tech buzz words and jargon that suggest they have more experience than they do. The technically-oriented Client who have worked in IT organizations do not qualify, full stop. Financial services experience a big plus. If they have strong BA experience thru the full SDLC and the baseline BA skills noted above they will do well.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of key initiatives through disciplined and effective business analysis, data analysis, testing, and change management; projects that may include CRM, strategic data repository, data controls model and business intelligence tools
• Requirements analysis responsibilities include requirements gathering and documentation, process analysis and documentation (process flow diagrams), development of user stories and business requirements documents (BRDs), mock-ups of screens
• Perform analysis of business requirements and data elements in support regular and ad hoc management reporting
• Work with front office to define and document business requirements
• Data analysis responsibilities include business / financial analysis, reconciliations and monitoring as well as establishment of data processes and controls that promote data integrity
• Support various change management tasks including development of user documents, drafting of change communication memos, and user training
• Provide day-to-day support of business technologies to business users, by investigating and addressing questions that are routed to the support mailbox
• Perform ad hoc analysis based on management's request, including
• Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvement and technology efficiencies
• Quality assurance responsibilities may include test planning, refinement of user stories to include clear exit criteria, test case documentation & execution, coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT), analysis of test results and summary of test results for team and management consumption

Minimum Job Requirements / Experience

All or part of (depending on the level) the following is required:

• BA or BS degree
• 3-5 years' experience in a hands-on BA capacity working on technology implementation and/or business transformation initiatives
• Extensive experience producing high-quality business requirements documents (BRDs) and working in tandem with development partners
• Experience with both agile and waterfall and adaptive methodologies a plus
• Highly analytical & strategic thinker who distills complex ideas & research down to what matters
• Strong business, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Highly responsive, mature and accountable in all aspects; a trusted partner to staff of all levels in both business and technology organizations
• Very strong skills with advance MS-Excel, SQL / VBA, PowerPoint and tools to create mock-ups of screens / user designs
• Consistent accuracy and attention to details in work product
• Ability to plan, organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with limited supervision
• Superior oral/written communication skills
• Strong drive and motivation to excel; keen to learn more and assume more responsibility
