Physician Senior Primary Care

About this role As a Physician Specializing in Geriatrics, Family, or Internal Medicine, you will work with a team of well‑established healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities Have more time with senior primary care patients during 30‑minute encounter times. Provide care during either a 4 × 10‑hour day or a 5 × 8‑hour workweek (no on‑call responsibilities). Practice at Intermountain Health Pecos Clinic in Henderson, Nevada. Use EPIC, the organization‑wide state‑of‑the‑art Electronic Health Record. Qualifications MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school. Residency training in Geriatrics, Family, or Internal Medicine. Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline. 2+ years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered. Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one. Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one. Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process. Location Pecos Clinic, Henderson, Nevada Employment Details Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
