Job Summary Senior Business Process Redesign Consultant – SCAN Temp This role supports the redesign of Claims, Enrollment, Provider Data Management, and Print & Fulfillment business processes to ensure seamless integration with the new core platform. Responsibilities Enable the redesign of Claims, Enrollment, Provider Data Management, and Print & Fulfillment processes. Facilitate workshops and meetings to map current state processes, gather feedback, and drive consensus toward an ideal state. Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and workarounds for improvement in current processes. Facilitate the design and documentation of future‑state processes and use them to drive system design and requirements. Support change management activities, including workstream communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Monitor and report on project performance, including status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders; elevate risks that impact the project’s critical path. Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or a related field (required); graduate or advanced degree preferred. PMP certification preferred. 7+ years of experience in health plan operations, process improvement, process redesign, or management consulting roles, with demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional initiatives. Leadership: lead and inspire teams to achieve goals and drive organizational success. Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Cross‑functional coordination experience supporting operational readiness for large‑scale programs. Strong planning, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Self‑starter initiative, capable of leading projects in dynamic environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, process mapping tools, change management methods, and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, PowerBI, Visio). Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Access). Deep understanding of continuous improvement frameworks; Lean or Six Sigma training or certification (e.g., Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred. Experience integrating AI, machine learning, RPA, or other automation platforms into business processes. Ability to evaluate and optimize internal and intra‑departmental processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. Strong verbal and written communication, tailoring messages to diverse audiences at all levels. Proficient at managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations, successfully juggling multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff within and external to the organization. Knowledge of managed‑care health insurance operations and Medicare experience. Strong ability to maintain positive relationships across business units, ensuring smooth communication and information exchange. Benefits Temporary opportunity for a limited period.
