Key Qualifications:
• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-age students
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for special education
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with differentiation and classroom management techniques
• Flexible, adaptable approach to evolving student and classroom needs

Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver resource room support to students in two primary grades
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure student success
• Adapt lessons and materials to meet the unique needs of each learner
• Monitor progress and document student growth in accordance with IEP goals
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on student performance
• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and other school-based functions
• Maintain an organized and nurturing classroom environment

This position follows the school schedule, with hours from 8:35am to 3:25pm, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through November or December. Immerse yourself in a supportive educational community, gaining valuable experience while making a significant impact.
