Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Crisis Response in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of suspicious behavior or conditions. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
