About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the brand's presence and demand generation in the retirement and financial services space. This role is pivotal in establishing the company as a thought leader and in supporting the growth of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the marketing strategy, setting priorities, and budgeting to create and accelerate demand. They will also be tasked with building the marketing engine that powers distribution, equipping the sales team with the necessary assets, and leading go-to-market efforts for new product and partner launches. The Head of Marketing will be a key player in the company's growth, with a focus on lifecycle and email marketing, measurement, and marketing operations. The ideal candidate for the Head of Marketing position at the company will have a background in marketing to financial advisors, RIAs, or broker-dealer audiences, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of these segments. They should be a natural builder-operator, comfortable with ambiguity and innovation, and a team player with a collaborative approach. Required qualifications include typically 15+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on retirement or a close financial-services proxy, and a proven track record of building a marketing function from scratch or on a lean team. The role demands fluency in marketing to sophisticated B2B audiences within a regulated, compliance-heavy environment, and proficiency in marketing tools and platforms. Direct experience in retirement, recordkeeping, or TPA is preferred.
