Office Support Clerk

Company: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Industry: Health Insurance and Health Care Level: Non-Manager Job Family: Multi-divisional Compensation: Competitive Total Compensation Package Overview Provides clerical support to the department by completing assignments including but not limited to processing mail, data entry, faxing, filing, preparing mailings, maintaining inventory levels, scanning/imaging and copying. Responsibilities Receipt and processing of all departmental incoming mail, emails, and faxes. Filing and retrieval of departmental correspondence. Sorting and preparation of membership documents for back‑end scanning/imaging. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School graduate or GED required. Associate degree or two years of full‑time college credits preferred. Some clerical skills/background preferred. Typing speed of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Basic reading, writing, spelling, and speaking proficiency required.
