We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure the timely payment of company expenses and liabilities. You'll be working with like-minded peers to continually look for ways to refine and improve our processes. What you'll do:

• Retrieve, code and process a high volume of invoices.
• Maintain, and utilize invoice retrieval system.
• Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Research and resolve issues and exceptions.
• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with end-of-month close.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• 2+ years A/P work experience preferred.
• Computer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office Software.
• Experience with relevant software such as bill.com preferred.
• Proficient in data entry and management.
• Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• High school diploma required, Business or Accounting degree preferred.
