Role Description The Treatment Tech & Patient Care Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA. This position supports audiologists and ENT providers by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with hearing evaluations, managing equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation in clinical systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, collecting and updating patient information, coordinating appointments, and supporting follow-up care and scheduling. The role also involves providing patient education about hearing care, facilitating virtual and concierge appointments as needed, and collaborating with the broader care team to maintain a smooth, patient-centered experience. The coordinator is expected to uphold high standards of professionalism, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to continuous improvement of clinic workflows.

Qualifications

• Patient care and clinic support skills, including assisting with basic audiology procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring a welcoming, empathetic experience for patients.
• Administrative and coordination abilities, such as appointment scheduling, record keeping, and managing patient flow in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams, including clear verbal and written communication.
• Technical proficiency with clinical software, electronic health records, and basic medical devices, with the ability to learn new tools and workflows quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills to follow protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and manage multiple tasks safely.
• Ability to work collaboratively with audiologists, ENT providers, and support staff, demonstrating professionalism, respect, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Prior experience in a medical, audiology, or patient-facing healthcare setting is preferred; experience in ENT or hearing care is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification as a medical assistant, audiology assistant, or related field is beneficial.
