We’re seeking Assembly Operator to work in a temporary to hire opportunity in Fairview, NC. We’re here to help you find something great that works for you—so you won’t miss a moment of what really matters in your life.

Snapshot:
Location: Fairview, NC
Pay Rate: $19.37 per hour
Training Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) for up to 6-8 weeks
Working Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with mandatory overtime on Saturdays when required

Position Summary:
The Assembly Operator I is responsible for the assembly of components using various tools and equipment. This role may require the use of microscopes, small hand tools, and fitting components into fixtures. Adherence to work instructions and quality standards is essential. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment, have a desire to learn, and possess the attention to detail needed to produce quality parts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect own work using established quality standards and work instructions.
• Conduct pull tests as needed for specific operations.
• Measure components using calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet print specifications.
• Complete necessary operational paperwork to maintain product traceability.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area.
• Follow company and department guidelines, procedures, and safety policies.
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
• Read and perform tasks according to product drawings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Experience using measuring devices (gauges, calipers, etc.) preferred.
• Availability to work overtime to support production goals as needed.
• Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time.
• Ability to operate machinery and move between work zones.
• Proficient in understanding written instructions in English.
