The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, from segmentation and automation to testing, analytics, and optimization. You will build customer journeys that support acquisition, repeat engagement, subscriptions, and long-term loyalty. Working with customer data and behavioral insights, you will create campaigns that deliver measurable revenue impact and strengthen brand relationships. This is an ideal opportunity for a lifecycle marketing expert who enjoys ownership, experimentation, and building high-performing marketing systems. \n Accountabilities: The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing program, developing customer communication strategies and executing campaigns across email and SMS channels. This role requires strong expertise in automation, segmentation, performance analysis, and conversion-focused marketing. Develop and manage the overall lifecycle marketing strategy, including campaign calendars, customer journeys, retention initiatives, and engagement programs. Build, optimize, and maintain automated lifecycle flows such as welcome journeys, onboarding sequences, appointment reminders, follow-ups, reactivation campaigns, subscription communications, and referral programs. Create and manage advanced customer segments based on behavioral data, engagement patterns, customer history, and lifecycle stages. Plan, write, build, test, and launch high-performing email and SMS campaigns focused on customer engagement, conversions, and revenue growth. Create customer-centric messaging and mobile-first email experiences while ensuring strong brand alignment, accessibility, and deliverability standards. Conduct ongoing testing and optimization of messaging, timing, offers, creative elements, and segmentation strategies. Analyze lifecycle performance metrics including bookings, retention, engagement, attributed revenue, conversion rates, and deliverability. Develop reporting frameworks and provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness. Manage and maintain lifecycle marketing platforms, customer data, integrations, event tracking, dynamic lists, and segmentation structures. Ensure compliance with email and SMS marketing regulations, including industry best practices related to privacy, consent, and deliverability. Maintain strong quality assurance processes before campaign launches to ensure accuracy and consistency. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a hands-on lifecycle marketing professional with proven experience building and optimizing automated customer journeys. They should have strong technical knowledge of marketing automation platforms, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. 3+ years of hands-on experience managing email and SMS marketing programs, preferably using Klaviyo or similar lifecycle marketing platforms. Proven experience designing, launching, and optimizing automated lifecycle campaigns and customer retention programs. Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing principles, customer segmentation, behavioral targeting, and retention strategies. Experience creating responsive, conversion-focused email campaigns with attention to user experience and deliverability. Ability to analyze campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements. Excellent copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create engaging customer-focused messaging. Strong attention to detail and commitment to rigorous testing and quality assurance. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively. Experience with subscription-based, recurring revenue, or service-based businesses is preferred. Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and performance optimization practices is a plus. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email customization is beneficial. Fluent written and spoken English skills are required. Availability to work with significant overlap during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
