Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiac cath lab unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required every 4th day and one weekend per month
• Holiday coverage required for 2 major and 1 minor holidays
• Weekend availability required
• Equipment used includes Philips single plane/bi-plane, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston Scientific & Philips), Carto Abbott, and X-Per
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• ARRT(R) or RCIS required
• BLS required
• Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — temporary LSRT accepted (typically issued within 3–5 days once fee is paid and proof of ARRT is received)
• Proficiency with Philips single plane/bi-plane, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS, Carto Abbott, and X-Per required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
