Work Environment\n

This role is designed as fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that you have all the necessary tools and support for effective practice. Although you will work from home, you will be integrated into a structured routine with office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our virtual environment promotes collaboration through regular digital meetings, professional outreach, and case conferences, creating a strong support network among team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, formulating a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique goals and preferences, including regular feedback sessions to guide their progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that approaches used are aligned with current best practices.

• Facilitate educational sessions for clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care practices that promote positive mental health.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary based on visible changes and evolving needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that the holistic needs of clients are addressed.

You will primarily be working with clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
