Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health, identifying key concerns and strengths to inform effective treatment strategies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, adapting techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Provide individual therapy through both in-person and teletherapy sessions, ensuring that all clients receive the necessary support regardless of accessibility challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at New U Mental and Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license to practice from the state of Maryland, such as Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

Preferred Experience\n
