This role is designed for a remote work setting that allows flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our Special Education Program. Our work hours typically run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends may be required. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, identifying various strengths and needs while also diagnosing mental health conditions.

• Devise and implement personalized treatment plans that address each student’s emotional wellness, academic success, and integration into the school community.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions encompassing individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate crisis intervention, supporting students during critical mental health emergencies.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with educators, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals, ensuring a well-rounded approach to each student's care.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health issues, creating a strong support network to aid recovery.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on students facing diverse challenges related to their mental health and educational journey. This includes supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, ADHD, and experiencing emotional and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in New York state is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
